Systems Engineering Manager – Baltimore, MD or Houston, TX

The Manager of Systems Engineering is primarily responsible for leading a team of Engineers to design and document pneumatic tube systems in health care facilities. Schedule: Full-time.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the team
  • Delegate assignments and achieve daily, weekly, monthly goals
  • Analyze existing operations and develop plan for improvement
  • Provide team training and motivation to achieve organizational goals
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and trades
  • Collaborate with and provide support to other departments
  • Contribute to the growth of the company with successful team performance

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of mechanical system design
  • Knowledge of Microstation, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM protocols
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years mechanical engineering or architectural experience
  • Minimum 5 years team leadership
